Beaufort County has a number of wonderful builders. There are custom builders who will build you fabulous upscale homes full of the latest and the greatest amenities. As a general rule your custom mansion will take them one to two years to complete and will invariably cost from $250 to $500 per square foot. On the flip side of the coin are the subdivision developers and the lower end home builders. Building as quickly as possible, on slab with a much lower price point you get a much different type of home. While either of these builder types may be exactly what some people need or want there seemed to be a market for something a little different.
